AWS Bedrock

Short answer

AWS Bedrock is Amazon's enterprise channel for accessing models from Anthropic, Meta, Mistral, Cohere, and others. Pricing varies by model, region, and commitment tier, so a Bedrock row is usually Needs Review until those are pinned down.

Bedrock is the enterprise-grade counterpart to direct API access. The trade-off is governance (IAM, VPC, regional control) versus price transparency.

Bedrock pricing typically depends on:

  • Model (e.g. anthropic.claude-opus-4-8 vs meta.llama-4-maverick).
  • Region (us-east-1, eu-west-1, etc.).
  • Mode (on-demand, provisioned throughput, batch).

On PlanPulse we mark Bedrock rows as Needs Review when the model/region combination isn't pinned down, because the global-endpoint parity pricing isn't guaranteed for every cell. Always confirm with the official Bedrock pricing page before billing decisions.
