About PlanPulse
PlanPulse is an independent AI pricing intelligence platform. We put AI API prices, cloud model channels, and AI product subscriptions side by side so you can see what things actually cost — without hopping between a dozen pricing pages.
What PlanPulse tracks
We follow three layers of the AI market in one place:
- AI API prices — per-token and per-request rates for chat, completion, embedding, image, and audio models from the major model providers.
- Cloud model channels — the same (or similar) models offered through Azure OpenAI, Amazon Bedrock, Google Vertex AI, and OpenRouter, where pricing, regions, and limits often differ from the first-party API.
- AI product subscriptions — consumer and team plans for AI assistants and coding tools, including seat pricing, usage caps, and what each tier actually includes.
Why PlanPulse exists
AI pricing is fragmented and full of hidden structure. A single "price" can depend on cached input rates, batch discounts, long-context tiers, image or audio surcharges, and whether you are billed per token, per request, or per seat. The same model can cost one thing on a provider's own API and something else through a cloud reseller. Comparing two options fairly means normalizing all of that — which is tedious to do by hand and goes stale within days.
PlanPulse does that normalization continuously, so a comparison that would take you an afternoon of tab-juggling takes a few seconds here.
How every price is presented
We try not to ask you to trust us blindly. Every price row carries:
- An official source link — pointing to the vendor's own pricing or documentation page, so you can verify the number yourself.
- A last-checked date — so you know how fresh the figure is.
- A confidence level — Verified (human-reviewed against the official source), Auto (captured automatically and not yet hand-checked), or Needs review (a recent change or ambiguity we have flagged for re-verification).
Our data methodology
Prices come from official vendor pages. We snapshot those pages on a regular schedule, diff each new snapshot against the last, and surface what changed. High-risk fields — headline rates, plan inclusions, and anything that moved since the previous check — are put in front of a human for review before they are published. We describe the result as daily-verified: the data is refreshed and checked on a daily cadence rather than scraped once and forgotten.
Independence
PlanPulse is an independent project. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of the vendors we track, including OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Microsoft, Amazon, or any other company whose pricing appears on this site. All product names, logos, and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used here only to identify the products being compared.
